Series RX-51x Portable Gas Monitor

Dual range detection of CH4 or HC in %Vol and %LEL

Aktuelles Datenblatt

RX-51x

RX-51x

Features:

  • Dual range detection of CH4 or HC in %Vol and %LEL
  • Unique gas combinations include:CH4/O2/CO/CO2/HC/O2/H2S
  • Measuring CH4 or HC from inerted tanks with IR sensor
  • High range H2S 0-1000 ppm available (RX-517)
  • Datalogging standard
  • ATEX and MED approved (Wheelmark)

To measure high concentration H2S turn the switch from “H2S LOW” to “H2S HIGH”. This switch changes the LCD display and an unique flow path protects other sensors from exposure to high concentration H2S.

Applikation LNG-Gas-Tankschiffe

When loading tanks are flushed with inert gases, the O2 content drops proportionally to the amount of inert gases used. Catalytic EX sensors need a minimum content of oxygen in the sample gas to be able to correctly measure combustible gases. As this minimum content is generally not available, instruments with catalytic sensors are not suitable for conducting EX measurements in inert atmospheres. A solution to this problem is to use infrared technology sensors (NDIR). Infrared sensors measure concentrations of combustible gases realiably, even if O2 is not present. With series RX-51x and it’s NDIR sensor you are well suited for this kind of application.

Datalogger as standard

The built-in datalogger allows you to record up to 600 hrs of measurement data, depending on the interval, and save it to the internal memory. Consequently, you can also transmit the data to a PC to be able to analyze prior hazardous situations and save them in the long term. The monitor is enabled to be connected by a data cable, which is separately available, just as the datalogger software.
