The GX-8000 sets a new standard for rugged, reliable portable gas detection. It's tough water proof design utilized features based on years of gas detection design experience, to assure that the instrument will operate properly to protect workers and property in all kinds of harsh gas detection applications.
The integrated pump with 0,75 ℓ/min suction flow lets you take samples from up to 30 m.
On top of that, GX-8000 configuration is also very versatile due to the simple sensor replacement. Additionally, alarm levels are freely adjustable adjusted to your needs.
Combining all relevant certifications, such as MED (Wheelmark) and ATEX (Ex), GX-8000 is a perfect tool for marine applications.
Additional features include the large LCD screen with simultaneous display of up to 5 ranges, time, live test and battery status. The display in addition to a loud and clear buzzer and 3 alarm LED's gives you full overview at all times so that alarm conditions are obvious from multiple perspectives, especially in high noise environments.
The GX-8000 features a waterproof and dust proof design with IP 67 rating for which the over-mold body is impact resistant and RFI shielded. Consequently, GX-8000 offers full protection while minimizing large instrument fleets because of its functionality.

IrDA Communication
The built-in data logger allows you to record up to 40 hrs of measurement data and save it to the internal memory. The optional data logger software is Windows© XP and Vista compatible for managing instrument fleets. Consequently, you can also transmit the data wirelesses by infrared to a PC to analyze prior hazardous situations.
Password Protection
Because of the GX-8000 security features you are secured from accidental misconfigurations or missed calibrations, which may influence measurement mode in a negative way and endanger the user.
Calibration intervals and reminders are user adjustable and all critical adjustments can be password protected.
