FP-260AGZS

FP-260AGZS is the consistent derivative of our line of tape monitors. The dry colometry detection principle allowws familiar gases such as C5F8 and C4F6, in addition to C3F6 to be detected reliably.

Easy VCR style cassette tapes are utilized as measuring media. They do an excellent job in other RIKEN tape monitors and assure simple and fast replacement.

The sample gas stream causes a chemical reaction on the colorimetric tape, and the intensity of chemical reaction is analyzed and correlated to a specific ppm level present in the sample.

Due to the best possible tunning of the tape to the measuring component, minimal interference from other gases or solvent vapors, such as fluorinert and galden, is a key feature of the FP-260AGZS.

The tape replacement period can be checked at a glance with the tape remainder display on the top.

As a matter of course, such a prime gas monitor is equied with an intergrated sampling system!

Features:

  • Built-in special pyrolizer
  • Ideal for monitoring semiconductor fab celan rooms
  • Ideal for low gas concentration, high sensitivity
  • Minimal interference from solvents
  • Easily replaceable plug-in tape cassette
  • Cassette tape remainder display included

Ideal for low ppm gas concentration

Dry colometrye

During operation, a light beam with specific wavelength and intensity is exposed to a sample stream. Depending on the gas, the intensity of the light reflected off the sample is measure and matched to preset values.

In case of the FP-260AGZS, the sample gas is passed through the special pyrolyzer and splitted into components. These components generated in the pyrolyzer are introduced to to a chemical painted on a tape and cause achange of color on the tape.
This color change is detected by the sensor as an analog signal. This signal is converted to a digital format, matched to the gas response curve stored in the analyzer's permanent memory, and displayed as the actual concentration value. All of these functions are mircoprocessor controlled.
Consequently, the use of dry colometry in combination with mircoprozessor control provides eycellent accuracy, repeatability and detectability even of low ppb concentrations.
